Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to conduct patient fittings and training for wearable defibrillator devices in the Waterloo, IA area. This role requires patient-care skills and the ability to travel to various healthcare settings.

The position is paid per fitting, with responsibilities including sizing, scheduling, and maintaining inventory while adhering to confidentiality and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background which may include nurses, cardiac device sales representatives, clinical engineers, catheterization lab technicians, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and other healthcare facilities to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and manage related paperwork.
