Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies Inc. seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Terre Haute, IN to perform patient fittings for wearable defibrillators and serve as the local care representative. This contracted role involves hands-on patient fitting, education, and coordination with clinicians and families.

Expect travel to hospitals and homes, measurement of garment sizes, and accurate paperwork processing. The APS will be trained and certified and will operate as part of Kestra's patient-care

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background may include nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, catheterization lab techs, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a good driving record.
• Completion of background check; Level 2 screenings where required.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation period.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.
• Vaccination and immunization documentation may be required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes to provide fitting services.
• Measure patient to determine garment size and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain inventory of kits, garments, and equipment.
• Coordinate with prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
