Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist in Waterloo, IA to conduct patient fittings for wearable defibrillators.

The role serves as the local patient care representative, trained and certified by Kestra, to support the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors. The position requires travel to hospitals and patients' homes, the ability to schedule services with prescribers and caregivers, and flexibility for daytime, evening, or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background which may include nurses, cardiac device sales representatives, clinical engineers, etc.
• Willingness to complete background checks and credentialing as required.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator by coordinating fittings.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and healthcare facilities to provide fitting services.
• Measure patients to determine correct garment size and ensure proper fit.
• Review and transmit paperwork to receive devices and services.
• Manage inventory of garments, kits and equipment used in fittings.
