Job summary

Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes is required; positions may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours. You will be trained and certified by Kestra as an ASSURE Patient Specialist while upholding confidentiality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background may include nurses, cardiac device sales reps, or ECG technicians.
• Background check completed; vaccination and HIPAA training may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel to hospitals, patient homes and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contractor APS to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and confidence-building for Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to sites and manage patient fittings as dispatched from HQ.
• Handle inventory of garments and equipment used in fittings.
