Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. in Springfield, IL is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to support the sales organization by fitting and training patients with the wearable defibrillator.

The APS will travel to hospitals and patients' homes, schedule services with prescribers, and manage inventory while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient privacy. This is a paid per fitting position with flexible hours and regional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in paid patient care experience.
• Clinical or engineering background (nurses, RTs, engineers, etc.).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain hospital credentialing and complete background checks.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient data privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction to patients and instill confidence.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers to schedule services and follow-ups.
• Work daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes for fittings and training.
• Measure patient to determine garment size and manage paperwork.
• Maintain inventory of kits and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality and security policies.
