Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) for Beaumont, TX. This paid per-fitting role supports the sales organization by fitting and training patients with a wearable defibrillator.

The APS acts as the local patient care representative, coordinating with prescribers, caregivers, and patients to ensure proper garment sizing and successful delivery of services.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background as described in job requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel in the region and visit hospitals/patients.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Vaccination and immunization status documentation.
• Completion of online HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens and Electrical/Fire Safety courses.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with the Assure wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Work hours may include day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Travel to hospitals and patients’ homes for fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size; manage paperwork.
