The APS will travel to hospitals and patients’ homes, deliver patient care, and ensure proper garment sizing and documentation. A valid license and credentialing readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year paid patient care experience required.
• Clinical or engineering background may include nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, or ECG techs.
• Disclose personal NPI number where applicable.
• Complete background check; FL/OH require Level 2 screening at company expense.
• Vendor credentialing must be paid during a 90-day probation period.
• Experience educating patients or clinicians is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator as a field APS.
• Provide instruction to instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Work daytime, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes to perform fittings.
• Measure patient to select correct garment size.
• Manage paperwork to receive Assure garment/services.
• Oversee inventory of kits, garments, and equipment.
