Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist to conduct patient fittings for wearable defibrillator systems in the Bay City, TX region. This paid per fitting role supports the sales team and Regional Clinical Advisors, serving as the local patient care representative.

The APS will be trained and certified, travel to patients’ homes and hospitals, fit garments, educate patients, and coordinate with prescribers and caregivers to ensure successful installations.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales reps, CI engineers, cath lab techs, PAs, ECG techs.
• Background check completion; Florida and Ohio level 2 screening paid by Kestra.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assignments dispatched from corporate HQ.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Workday flexibility including daytime, evening and weekend hours.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes for fittings.
