Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Cheyenne, WY, seeks a Weapons Maintenance Specialist to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft gun systems, including the M240D, and related equipment, following SOPs and the PWS.

The role requires extensive knowledge of weapons maintenance, the ability to interpret blueprints, and willingness to travel. A USAF-style training, DoD secret clearance, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Education / Certifications: High School diploma, USAF training, DoD secret clearance, valid driver's license.
• Experience: comprehensive weapons procedures knowledge; recent experience at 5 level or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on M240D machine guns and related equipment.
• Removes and installs weapon systems components and performs preflight/postflight checks.
• Document all inspection actions in IMDS and aircraft forms.
• Follow security procedures and munition accountability requirements.
• Operating ground support equipment and performing basic flightline duties.
