Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an experienced ordnance technician to maintain and service aircraft armament systems for VX-31, including load/unload and system testing. You will assist the crew leader and must stay certified on all assigned aircraft.

Required: High School or equivalent, 10 years’ supervision in ordnance loading, AO C-school, DoD Secret clearance, ability to lift up to 167 pounds with team lifts, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience supervising the loading and arming of conventional ordnance on aircraft.
• AO 'C' school completion
• DoD Secret clearance required; able to obtain/maintain
• Must meet physical requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service aircraft armament equipment.
• Upload/download ordnance stores/devices; perform system tests.
• Assist ordnance crew leader; ensure operations are performed safely.
• Qualify on all VX-31 aircraft types (T/M/S).
• Team lifts of ordnance up to 167 pounds per member, per USN procedures.
