Job summary

V2X is seeking a qualified individual to maintain and service aircraft armament equipment, perform system tests, and assist the ordnance crew leader. You will be required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and stay qualified on all aircraft assigned to VX-31, with occasional travel and multi-shift availability.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and precise handling of ordnance loading and records in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience supervising the loading and arming of conventional ordnance on aircraft, with 3 of the last 10 years on similar aircraft.
• Certified to adhere to conventional/experimental ordnance loading.
• Must meet and sustain all physical requirements.
• Completed AO C school.
• Maintain Naval Ordnance records to Navy standards for O level shops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Available to work any shift.
• Travel may be required.
• Released from military service with an Honorable Discharge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service the aircraft armament equipment and perform system tests as required in support of the squadron.
• Upload/download ordnance stores and devices as required for RDT&E programs.
• Function as assistant ordnance crew leader and certify as QASO to ensure safety and correctness of operations.
• Stay qualified on all T/M/S aircraft assigned to VX-31 and maintain currency.
