Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a seasoned Aircraft Mechanic II to perform O-Level maintenance on airframes, engines, and related systems. The role includes leading teams on complex tasks, documenting work in logs, and advancing toward Plane Captain certification in accordance with DoD procedures.

Requirements include 5+ years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 experience, CDI/QAR/CDQAR designation, and a DoD Secret clearance eligibility. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent. Specialized training courses are desirable.
• Shall have completed their appropriate T/M required/Series Navy Skill Specialty Class "C" school.
• Shall have minimum of five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
• Shall have not less than three years T/M aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain.
• Shall have been previously designated as a CDI, QAR, or CDQAR
• Shall have a valid driver's license.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security Clearance.
• Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on airframe, ordnance, power plants, corrosion control and painting.
• Maintain/repair engine systems, structures and components including hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems.
• Lead teams through more complex aircraft tasks and document maintenance in logs/records.
• Plane Captain certification path and DoD procedures may be required later.
