Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our King George, VA team to test the TTWCS software across lab configurations, including surface and subsurface setups, with potential FMS support.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, on-site work at NSWC Dahlgren, and a BS in a STEM field or equivalent military experience. You will develop test procedures, analyze results, and coordinate with government personnel and teammates.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM or military equivalent with operational experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required for this position.
• Experience testing tactical weapon systems in lab environments.
• Experience with CBT&E and automated testing tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira for documenting CRs/PRs and tracking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test tactical weapon systems in various configurations in a lab setting.
• Document lab results and modify test procedures as needed.
• Troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Analyze test data and support verification of requirements.
• Create and maintain TVMs, test plans, and test reports.
• Present testing results and briefs to management and government staff.
