Job summary

SimVentions in King George, VA, is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our team supporting TTWCS software testing in surface, subsurface, and FMS configurations. This position requires on-site presence at our King George office and at the customer site NSWC Dahlgren.

You will conduct testing of tactical weapon systems, document lab results, modify hardware and network configurations, analyze data, verify fixes, and develop new test procedures while collaborating with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science from an accredited university majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study
• Operational experience as TTWCS Operator and Maintenance Technician or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in lab settings and across builds
• Document lab logs and troubleshooting steps for hardware, simulators, and networks
• Perform data analysis of test output and develop data extraction for verification
• Create change requests and verify software fixes for CR/PR resolutions
• Develop and modify test procedures and verify system functionality
• Perform peer reviews of procedures and maintain TVMs
• Generate test plans and test reports for technical reviews
• Communicate testing summaries verbally and in writing to management
