Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to support testing TTWCS software in multiple configurations at King George, VA and customer sites.

On-site presence is required with opportunities for travel, and an ACTIVE Secret Clearance is mandatory for eligibility. You will conduct lab testing of tactical weapon systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, analyze data, and develop test procedures to verify requirements and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science from an accredited university in STEM or military operational experience as TTWCS Operator/Maintenance Tech.
• Experience with CBTE (Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation) is preferred.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methods is preferred.
• Ability to create test and lab schedules allocating resources and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in lab configurations and across builds.
• Document lab results, troubleshoot hardware, simulators, and networks.
• Analyze test outputs and develop data extraction/reduction for verification.
• Prepare and present test plans, reports, and technical briefs to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM fields

Naval TTWCS operational experience (Navy FC/FT, NEC V20A)
