Job summary

Citi is seeking a Technology Lead for Wealth Investments Supervisory in Jersey City, NJ. You will drive end-to-end architecture, integrate new products, and design risk/compliance checks across complex business processes.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure robust, scalable platform delivery. The role requires deep Java/Spring Boot expertise, strong data layer experience with Oracle/NoSQL, Kafka, and observability tooling.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in technology leadership for investment platforms.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST/gRPC API design.
• Strong databases skills: Oracle SQL, JPA/Hibernate, and NoSQL (MongoDB/ Redis).
• Experience with Kafka, distributed systems, and service meshes.
• Knowledge of risk, compliance, and regulatory reporting in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and evolution of funds platforms for scalability and performance.
• Drive integration of AI tools and tokenization initiatives for assets.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, Business, and operations teams.
• Ensure risk management and regulatory compliance in technology decisions.
