Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States is seeking a Wealth Investments Supervisory Technology Lead, Senior Vice President to own the architecture and delivery of the Supervisory Platform.

The role requires deep Java and Python expertise, strong domain knowledge in RDIP and asset classes, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through design, development, and deployment in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java (8-21) with Spring Boot, concurrency, JVM tuning, REST/gRPC API design.
• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.
• Relational DBs (Oracle, SQL optimization, JPA/Hibernate) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Kafka for event-driven architectures; TLS/mTLS and HTTP/2 networking.
• Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry for observability.
• Circuit breakers, retries, bulkheads, chaos engineering for resilience.
• Domain knowledge in RDIP, client suitability, and financial product risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, in line with Supervisory Platform Target State.
• Analyze complex business and system processes to design risk and compliance checks and automation.
• Interact with Business, Product Owner, Operations, Testing, and Technology teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and ensure architectural integrity.
• Oversee full SDLC from requirements to deployment and support; mentor engineers.
