Job summary

Citi in Jersey City seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to own and drive end-to-end software for high-volume securities finance. You will architect, build, and deploy enterprise-grade solutions using Core Java, Spring, and microservices, with Docker/Kubernetes.

Lead teams, mentor engineers, and partner with business and compliance stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant delivery. You will work in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, shaping how Citi's platforms

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering in financial services.
• Deep proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, Spring, RESTful APIs and Unix scripting.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and data tooling in finance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end software for high-volume securities finance.
• Lead implementation using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Docker & Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and align work with regulatory and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to capture requirements.
