Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 preferred.
• Extreme attention to detail, maintaining the highest quality.
• Previous securities processing and/or accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to work in stressful environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with Windows XP and Microsoft Office Products, including working knowledge of Excel, as well as DOS based Mainframe System Applications.

Responsibilities

• Move money into and out of FTS brokerage accounts via electronic funds transfer systems.
• Serve as a control point by ensuring all required documents are present and accurate while verifying that all required approvals are properly obtained.
• Process retirement distributions timely and accurately.
• Establish and maintain all Periodic Investment Plans and Systematic Withdrawal Plans.
• Handle deposits for the Broker/Dealer, including checks and certificates.
• Keep the Electronic Check Blotter accurate and updated; ensure FINRA deadlines are met.
• Follow up on NIGO items daily.
• Process 529 and 401(k) plan processing.
• Meet defined service level agreements for requests.
• Interact daily with field sales to resolve disconnects and verify input data.
• Communicate status with field and internal operations personnel.
• Investigate and repair disconnects/fails on systematic plans.
• Inform about missing paperwork to book positions into accounts.
• Coordinate with other Cashiering functions for daily processing.
• Maintain daily records per industry rules.
• Maintain knowledge of IRS rules for retirement accounts.
• May assist in training new Cashiering members.
• Provide reports and statistics to management.
