Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of operations experience in securities clearance.
• Basic understanding of investments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in stressful environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Handles securities processing tasks including independently processing transactions of extremely high dollar amounts.
• Verifies trade settlement information at depository and in proprietary system.
• May be required to execute new trades/instructions in various markets.
• Processes cash movement in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Demonstrates accuracy and timeliness, evidenced through audits.
• Researches and resolves questions from internal and external parties; serves as first line contact for issues.
• Contacts counterparties to follow-up on outstanding settlement issues and communicates settlement issues.
• Promotes teamwork and cross-training of team members.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
