Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in New Jersey is seeking a Wealth Relationship Officer to support Wealth Relationship Managers, entering orders, opening new accounts and delivering high-quality client service for banking and wealth products.

The role requires Series 7/63, Life and Health licenses, and strong regulatory knowledge, with emphasis on compliant client solutions and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Series 7 and 63 are mandatory.
• Life and Health licenses required; must be registered in relevant US states.
• Experience in financial services industry.
• Knowledge of brokerage products, services, and regulations.
• Anti-money laundering knowledge and US regulatory governance.
• Strong interpersonal and responsiveness skills with sound decision making.
• Understanding of core products and Premier proposition for retail/wealth clients.
• Familiarity with relationship management systems (CRM RM Platform).
• Solid knowledge of branch procedures.
• Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication to deliver high-quality client experience; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality sales support to Wealth Relationship Managers
• Reduce the time spent on process and administrative tasks by Wealth Relationship Managers
• Support the banking portions of their assigned portfolio
• Support Wealth Relationship Managers to manage client contact and service
• Provide sales support to licensed sales staff including preparing and completing sales documents
• Enhance client trust in HBUS and Wealth’s capability to meet client needs
• Have regular contact with clients regarding their accounts under guidance
• Enter orders for clients and open new accounts at the direction of the registered representative
