Job summary

Bessemer Trust is seeking a Wealth Planning Software Engineering Lead to drive hands-on technical leadership across applications, integrations, and platforms supporting Wealth Planning. You will translate the roadmap into scalable solutions and mentor developers within a governance-forward environment.

You will collaborate with business leaders, architecture, data, and security teams to deliver modernized, integrated capabilities, including GenAI-enabled features, while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with senior/tech-lead responsibilities.
• Strong software design and enterprise architecture capabilities.
• Experience with modern web development including React.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and enterprise systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Familiarity with workflow or business-process automation tech.
• Knowledge of source control, CI/CD, automated testing, code quality and security scanning.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, integration design, and technical implementation for Wealth Planning apps.
• Stay hands-on in reviews, prototyping, troubleshooting, and complex development work.
• Establish and promote consistent software engineering standards and patterns.
• Ensure scalable, secure, testable, and maintainable solutions with risk awareness.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
