Job summary

Bessemer Trust is seeking an experienced Wealth Planning Software Engineering Lead in Woodbridge, NJ. You will provide hands-on technical leadership for Wealth Planning applications, workflows, and platforms, translating the roadmap into scalable technology solutions.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure secure, maintainable delivery across initiatives including AI-enabled capabilities and data/reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior engineer/technical lead roles.
• Strong software design and enterprise architecture skills with experience leading complex initiatives.
• Experience with modern web app development, including React.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and enterprise systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with workflow or business-process automation technologies.
• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality and security scanning.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to review designs and code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple technical priorities within a roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery from requirements through production support.
• Promote automated testing, CI/CD, code quality, security scanning, and monitoring.
• Identify technical risks and edge cases early in the lifecycle.
• Lead resolution of complex production issues spanning applications and integrations.
• Balance new development with upgrades, production support, and technical debt reduction.
