Job summary

The Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Manager at Truist will oversee on-site onboarding events for newly recruited Financial Advisors and teams. You will lead a team of Onboarding and Transition Specialists, coordinate home office staff, and ensure a smooth transition with risk controls and documented processes.

Expect travel of 1–7 weeks for recruiting visits and on-site support, with strong emphasis on training materials and operational excellence to maximize post‑transition

Qualifications

• Five years of broker/dealer or financial services experience.
• FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 examinations or ability to acquire within 120 days.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and brokerage systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational aspects of transitioning the business and coordinate activities.
• Serve as Project Manager during onboarding events and troubleshoot items.
• Ensure compliance with industry protocols and minimize litigation risk.
• Develop and supervise onboarding specialists and home office staff.
• Track asset acquisition, client documentation, and adjust strategies.
• Coordinate recruiting visits and maximize commitment from advisors.
• Document operating processes and create onboarding training materials.
• Maintain living documents for events and recruit visits.
• Provide onsite support during transitions (1–7 weeks).
• Develop and deliver ad hoc trainings for systems and procedures.
