Job summary

Altruist is transforming wealth management with an AI platform and seeks an Onboarding Specialist in the Los Angeles area to own advisor firm transitions from post-sale to launch. You’ll lead end-to-end implementations, drive plans, meet milestones, and train advisory teams to fluency on the platform.

You will partner with Sales, CS, Ops, Product, Engineering, and Compliance, ensure a smooth handoff, and set up a scalable, repeatable transition process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, transitions, or client-facing operations; B2B financial services strongly preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed (required).
• Deep understanding of the independent wealth management industry — RIAs, custodial transitions, and where they break down.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of client implementations from post-sale through launch, migrating assets on plan and accelerating time-to-value.
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead cross-functional implementation efforts across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Run discovery before kickoff and tailor the plan and training to how the firm operates.
• Take ownership of the firm relationship when Sales hands off, ensuring a seamless transition.
