Job summary

Altruist is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to own the transition of advisory firms onto the Altruist platform — from post-sale handoff through a launched, self-sufficient firm. This is the highest-stakes moment in the advisor relationship, and every interaction in the transition reinforces or undermines it.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in implementation, onboarding, transitions, or client-facing operations.
• FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses required.
• Deep understanding of the independent wealth management industry.
• Executive presence with firm principals and COOs; cross-functional influence.
• Ability to manage multiple deployments and maintain timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own client implementations post-sale through launch, migrating assets and accelerating value.
• Develop detailed implementation plans, manage timelines and risks.
• Lead cross-functional efforts across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance.
• Run discovery and tailor plans and training to each firm’s operations.
• Maintain weekly transition health reporting with owners and next steps.
