Job summary

Merrill Wealth Management is seeking candidates for the Advisor Development Program - Financial Advisor to start a career in wealth management, working with high-net-worth clients and collaborating with Merrill Financial Advisor Teams to grow their practice.

You will develop a book of business, identify client needs, deliver comprehensive recommendations, and coordinate with internal specialists while meeting training and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses.
• Minimum of one year experience in financial services or a sales environment with targets met.
• Minimum of one year experience in investments with product knowledge.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and key partners.
• Goal- and results-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to source clients via prospecting and networking.
• Comfort with compensation tied to performance.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound inquiries from leads regarding Merrill offering.
• Positions the capabilities of Merrill and Bank of America.
• Collects client data following KYC procedures to open accounts.
• Provides investment recommendations suitable for prospects and clients.
• Documents all client interactions in Salesforce.
