Bank of America’s Merrill Wealth Management invites ambitious Financial Advisor candidates to join the Advisor Development Program in the United States. Qualifications

• Hold Series 7 and 66 licenses (or the equivalent 63/65)
• Minimum of 1 year in the investments industry with product knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year in financial services or a sales environment with target attainment
• Proven ability to engage and influence others
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to listen, probe for clarity, assess needs and recommend solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and key partners
• Goal- and results-oriented with strong follow-through
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to source clients via prospecting and networking
• Compensation primarily based on performance; comfortable with sales-driven environment
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Develop a book of business to meet and exceed performance hurdles
• Prioritize sourcing prospective clients, referrals, and assessing client needs
• Recommend investment products and services aligned with client objectives and resources
• Balance growth, referrals, follow-up, prospecting, and development planning
• Organize resources to run a productive practice
• Consult with specialists to identify planning and investment strategies
• Complete mandated training, assessments, and continuing education requirements
