American University is seeking an Operations Assistant at the Washington College of Law to support conference and event services. This part-time role requires a current AU student, strong customer service, and the ability to work 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include event setup, space utilization, and providing guest assistance during events; duties occur during varied hours including days and evenings. A pre-employment background check may be required.

This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions.
FWS funds cannot be applied to janitorial, construction, partisan or sectarian positions.

The Operations Assistant(s) (OA) will report directly to the Director of Conference & Event Services at AU Washington College of Law (WCL).
OAs are responsible for completing event set ups at the Washington College of Law campus as well general event support. Operations Assistants will support Washington College of Law Conference & Event Services operations before, during, and after weekday business hours.
Part-time.
20 hours per week.
Salary Range: $18.40 per hour.
