Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Wax Level II to join the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The position runs on the Afternoon Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30PM-10:30PM) with training on 1st shift.

A shift premium is provided when off-shift. This role emphasizes meticulous wax cluster inspection and adherence to strict product criteria. You will report to the Wax Group leader and contribute to quality across the wax cell, from assembly inspection to feedback and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status (green card not required).
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Dover NJ will be considered.
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow information on work instructions.
• All assemblies must be visually inspected 100% for defects or non-compliance.
• Mark up assemblies to identify defects found by inspector.
• Record defect data in the plant's visual inspection system.
• Provide feedback to wax department supervisors and operators on quality.
• Audit in-process work and provide operator feedback.
• Inspect all clusters per the AI and product criteria.
• Ensure mold input quality for Monoshell.
• Assist operators on skill development and on-boarding.
• Participate in continuous improvement and duties assigned by supervisor.
