Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Wax Machine Operator for the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey, on the Midnight shift (Sunday Night - Thursday Night 10:00p - 6:00a). Training on Day shift may occur for several months. Starting hourly rate is $24.04; after 12 months $26.69.

Position includes shift premium off-shift. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, life insurance, disability coverage, PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Repeatedly injects wax or plastic patterns by operating one or two automatic fixed cycle, power injection machines.
• Prepares pattern for inspection by cleaning core print area and identifying pattern.
• Performs visual inspection for quality of injected pattern.
• Deflash solid patterns at press
