Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Utility Investor to support the wax and investing operation at our Redmond, Oregon facility. The role involves leaching and washing wax patterns, dipping frames for wax assembly, and prepping molds for investing, with emphasis on safety and equipment maintenance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to follow instructions, basic math, and forklift certification. Overtime may be required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to complete Forklift Driving Safety Certification Training.
• Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work overtime if required.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner; adhere to safety rules.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to co-workers and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare citric acid bath and wash tank bath; leach, wash, rinse and dry wax patterns.
• Stage and dip frames for wax assembly; retrieve frames as needed.
• Prep finished assemblies for investing operation.
• Maintain inventory and order materials for investing preparation and leaching operation.
• Adhere to safety rules; operate equipment safely and report issues.
• Assist molding and investing by cleaning bolts and filling wire bins.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Manage spent aerosol cans and comply with hazardous waste procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
