Job summary

Precision Castparts in Redmond, Oregon is seeking a Wax Molder to produce wax patterns, chills, gates, and solubles per quality standards. You will operate wax press machinery, handle tooling, and document daily production logs.

This hands-on role requires reading setup instructions, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe work practices. Prior manufacturing experience and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and follow safety policies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Experience operating forklift and other lifting gear is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate wax press machinery, equipment and related tooling safely and efficiently.
• Clean, handle and store wax molding tooling properly.
• Follow wax molding setup techniques and tool instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of molding area and equipment.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality criteria.
• Document daily paperwork and forms for molding operations.
• Identify tooling damage and operational issues; report them.
• Process paperwork and move tools in and out of the department as needed.
• Set up and inspect new and reworked tooling.
• Receive and inspect raw materials.
• Perform leach tank operations when needed with safety.
• Conduct monthly maintenance duties.
• Write work instructions for molding operations.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
