Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking an experienced wax injection operator to run manual, automatic, and semi-automatic wax injection equipment. You will set up dies, adjust process parameters, and inspect wax patterns to meet quality standards.

The role includes documentation, training others, and cross-training across departments. We require at least a high school diploma or GED, with 6+ months manufacturing experience; 1+ year in wax injection or related processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred. Six months or more manufacturing experience required.
• One year or more wax injection, investment casting, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers.

Responsibilities

• Operate wax injection equipment to produce wax patterns and components.
• Assemble and set up dies using procedures and work instructions.
• Adjust process parameters to produce acceptable wax patterns within limits.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality and dimensional compliance.
• Identify and repair defects; perform pattern finishing when needed.
• Prepare and process ceramic cores and soluble cores as required.
• Perform die, tooling and equipment setups for production needs.
• Complete production paperwork and system data entry.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions.
• Train and support less experienced operators and cross-functional team members.
