Precision Castparts is seeking a Wax Injection Operator to support investment casting production. You will set up and operate wax injection dies, adjust parameters, and inspect wax patterns to ensure conformance to specifications.

The role includes supporting core preparation, die handling, and documentation within a safety-conscious environment. The ideal candidate has related manufacturing experience, can read production orders, and proficiently uses calipers and micrometers to verify

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months manufacturing experience required.
• One year wax injection or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read shop orders, sketches, and production docs.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers.

Responsabilidades

• Operate wax injection equipment to produce patterns and components.
• Assemble and set up wax dies with standard and complex sections.
• Adjust process parameters to produce acceptable patterns.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Identify and repair defects such as flash, air bubbles, and flow lines.
• Prepare and inspect ceramic cores as required.
• Perform tool and die setups for production and engineering needs.
• Complete production paperwork and inventory transactions accurately.
• Utilize computer systems to enter and retrieve production data.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions; assist in training others.
