Job summary

Howmet Aerospace/Tempcraft in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Wax Finisher to complete final finishing of wax and wax/plastic patterns. You will repair defects, dress pour cups, and attach finished patterns to trees for gating, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work in a team, and perform light to moderate physical activity on a 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday. Competitive wages and solid benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Final finishing of wax and wax/plastic patterns.
• Repair defects without changing pattern contour or shape.
• Dressing of pour cups.
• Attach finished pattern to tree and pour cup to gating.
• Assemble cross arms and vent plugs if gating.
• Data entry of finished piece into inventory system.
• Prepare cores on IGT patterns.
• Blue sealing on plastic/wax patterns.

Responsibilities

• Finish wax/patterns to required specifications.
• Inspect and repair defects without altering design.
• Document completed pieces in the inventory system.
• Assist with gating work and assembly as needed.
• Ensure safety PPE is worn and area remains clean.
