Howmet Aerospace in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Wax Finisher to handle final wax finishing and pattern assembly tasks in a 9pm–5:30am shift. You will remove flash, repair defects, and dress pour cups while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. It offers competitive wages, an on-site, air-conditioned facility, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution (Required)
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a cell team

Responsabilités

• Responsible for the final finishing of wax and wax/plastic patterns: removing flash; repair defects; and smooth blends
• Repair defects in pattern assemblies without changing either the contour or the shape of the pattern by using wax as the filling material
• Dressing of pour cups
• Attach finished pattern to tree and attach pour cup to pattern gating
• If performing gating work, assembly of plastic or wax cross arms and vent plugs must be completed
• Reporting by data entry of finished piece into computer inventory system
• Preparation of cores (if working on IGT patterns)
• Blue sealing if working on plastic/wax patterns
