Howmet Aerospace is hiring a Wax Finisher in Cleveland, OH, operating under the supervision of the Production Area Lead. The role focuses on finishing wax and wax/plastic patterns, repairing defects, and ensuring proper pattern assembly and data entry in our inventory system.

PPE and safety are required. Typical duties include dressing pouring cups, attaching patterns to trees, and performing gating assembly as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)

Mansioni

• Finish wax and wax/plastic patterns: remove flash, repair defects, smooth blends
• Repair pattern defects without altering contour or shape using wax as filler
• Dress pouring cups and attach finished pattern to the tree
• Attach pour cup to pattern gating and complete cross arms/vent plugs when gating
• Data entry of finished pieces into inventory system
• Prepare cores for IGT patterns and perform blue sealing on plastic/wax patterns
