Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Wax Finisher to perform the final finishing of wax and wax/plastic patterns on-site. You will work under the Production Area Lead with a 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift, Monday–Friday.

The role requires a high school diploma and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with opportunities to apply quality finishing techniques, document inventory data, and participate in a team environment. Competitive wages and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work as part of a cell team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Finish wax and wax/plastic patterns by removing flash, repairing defects, and smoothing blends.
• Repair defects in pattern assemblies without changing contour using wax as filler.
• Dress pour cups and attach finished pattern to tree.
• If gating work, assemble plastic or wax cross arms and vent plugs.
• Enter data on finished piece into computer inventory system.
• Prepare cores for IGT patterns.
• Blue sealing when working on plastic/wax patterns.
