Aleron is seeking a Wave Solder Machine Operator in Melbourne, FL for a temp-to-direct role on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM). You will set up, operate and maintain wave solder and PCB assembly equipment, inspect assemblies for IPC and quality standards, and support rework and cleaning in a fast-paced electronics environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience with hand tools, and 1 year of high-volume production machine operation.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 (depending upon experience) +10% shift differential

Schedule: 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM)

What You'll Do:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain wave solder, cleaning, potting, and other PCB assembly equipment to support production requirements.
  • Inspect printed circuit board assemblies before and after solder operations to ensure compliance with IPC and quality standards.
  • Perform rework, washing, and related assembly support tasks while ensuring proper handling of controlled materials and ESD-sensitive components.
  • Monitor work-in-process accuracy, complete required production logs, and follow ISO, safety, and job-specific procedures.
  • Conduct basic equipment maintenance and assist maintenance technicians with troubleshooting and operational support.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous quality improvement efforts and team objectives.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members, including participating in quality meetings and training other employees as needed.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with high-volume production machine operation in a manufacturing environment
