Job summary

Acara Solutions seeks a Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator to prep components and assemble advanced electronic and mechanical products in Bloomington, MA. You will tin, trim, form, and populate connectors, solder, wire, and integrate subassemblies, ensuring quality in a fast-paced setting.

You will read schematics and BOMs, follow work instructions, and maintain production records. This role offers contract employment with on-site work in a precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electronics manufacturing or related environment.
• Experience with tinning, trimming, forming, or connector assembly.
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs and work instructions.
• Experience with hand soldering, wiring, and component installation.
• Experience with manufacturing tracking systems and quality procedures.
• Experience using measuring equipment and basic math in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components for assembly through tinning, trimming, forming, and connector population.
• Assemble electronic and mechanical subassemblies including boards, cables, frames and panels.
• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs and work instructions.
• Perform wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, and component installation.
• Integrate subassemblies into completed systems and perform final assembly.
• Conduct basic electrical testing, inspections, rework and refurbishment.
• Maintain accurate production and work order documentation.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, production assembly, electromechanical assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience performing component preparation activities including tinning, trimming, forming, or connector assembly.
• 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
• 2+ years of experience performing hand soldering, wiring, cable harnessing, or component installation.
• 2+ years of experience using manufacturing tracking systems, quality procedures, and inspection criteria.
• 2+ years of experience using measuring equipment and performing basic mathematical calculations in a manufacturing setting.
