Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Wave Planner to schedule and coordinate the efficient packaging and loading of customer inventory for distribution. This role plans and releases orders to the warehouse floor for packing and shipment.

You will prioritize work orders, distribute schedules across departments, and update inventory and warehouse systems. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve shipment issues are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or 2 years related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Creates and prioritizes waves to meet shipment goals.
• Distributes production, work, and shipment schedules to departments.
• Prioritizes work orders and documentation based on inventory and orders.
• Opens/closes trailer loads in systems to maintain accurate inventory.
• Dispatches shipments to carriers and updates WMS.
