Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Wave Closure Clerk to monitor and reconcile released waves, validate WIP, and coordinate follow-up on exceptions. You will work with Operations, Wave, and QA teams to ensure timely resolution and protect customer service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in inventory control within a warehouse/distribution setting. On-site work with a fast-paced, hands-on team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6+ months’ experience in Inventory Control in a Warehouse/distribution center setting.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, or comparable operational environment.
• Ability to use warehouse management, carton-tracking, reporting, and basic spreadsheet tools.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
• Ability to work on-site in a distribution environment and perform other warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile released waves and aged work, ensuring outstanding cartons are accounted for as completed or documented as exceptions.
• Research stalled or unaccounted-for cartons using PKMS/carton tracking and physical verification.
• Coordinate with Wave, Picking, Exceptions, Personalization Techniques, QA, Packing, and leadership to drive resolution.
• Track aging, unresolved gaps, and customer‑service risks; escalate issues requiring leadership action.
• Maintain accurate wave‑closure documentation and identify recurring trends or process failures.
• Support additional operational priorities including Stock Withdrawals andSales order processing while keeping wave closure current.
