Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Wave Closure Clerk to monitor and reconcile released waves, validate WIP, and coordinate follow-up on exceptions. You will work with Operations, Wave, and QA teams to ensure timely resolution and protect customer service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in inventory control within a warehouse/distribution setting. On-site work with a fast-paced, hands-on team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6+ months’ experience in Inventory Control in a Warehouse/distribution center setting.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, or comparable operational environment.
• Ability to use warehouse management, carton-tracking, reporting, and basic spreadsheet tools.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and follow‑through.
• Ability to work on-site in a distribution environment and perform other warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile released waves and aged work, ensuring outstanding cartons are accounted for as completed or documented as exceptions.
• Research stalled or unaccounted-for cartons using PKMS/carton tracking and physical verification.
• Coordinate with Wave, Picking, Exceptions, Personalization Techniques, QA, Packing, and leadership to drive resolution.
• Track aging, unresolved gaps, and customer‑service risks; escalate issues requiring leadership action.
• Maintain accurate wave‑closure documentation and identify recurring trends or process failures.
• Support additional operational priorities including Stock Withdrawals andSales order processing while keeping wave closure current.

The Wave Closure Clerk supports Personalization Operations by monitoring and reconciling released work through completion. This role researches aged and outstanding cartons, validates work-in-process, and coordinates follow‑up on exceptions or stalled work. The clerk partners with Operations, Wave, Picking, Exceptions, Personalization Techniques, QA, and Packing to maintain accurate visibility and drive timely resolution. The role helps protect customer service by ensuring unresolved work is identified and escalated before it continues to age.

The Wave Closure Clerk position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

• Support additional operational priorities based on business needs, including Stock Withdrawals and Business Sales order processing, tracking, coordination, and follow‑up, while ensuring primary wave closure responsibilities remain current
