Job summary

Reece USA is seeking a Trainee for a 12-month program to prepare individuals for Inside Sales or Estimator roles, with potential future growth to Branch Manager, Outside Sales, or Corporate positions. The trainee will rotate through warehouse operations, product delivery, sales and customer relationships, and branch-level accounting and inventory management.

You will support customers, handle orders and bids, and gain exposure to vendor relations and data entry in the Mincron system.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to relocate upon conclusion of the Trainee program.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of Fortiline Waterworks.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line telephone system.
• Assist customers and generate frequent progress reports on training status.
• Pull orders with 100% accuracy and package safely for loading on trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard.
• Use equipment to move large materials and ensure forklifts are safe.
• Schedule UPS shipments and make customer deliveries (non-CDL).
• Assist walk-in customers with questions on orders, quotes, and job specifications.
• Assist with take-offs, enter bids and process submittals.
• Receive and verify inventory from vendors and stock/restock items.
• Process customer orders and other sales transactions into Mincron system.
