Ferguson is seeking an Estimator/Quotations Specialist for the Rio Grande Waterworks Team to develop quotations on waterworks projects, collaborate with branches and vendors, and ensure exceptional customer service. Experience with industrial and mechanical quotations and waterworks knowledge is highly valued, with strong time management.

Qualifications

• Quoted data and pricing experience for construction projects.
• Experience reading blueprints, building plans, or drawings is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Applications.

Responsibilities

• Gather data for quotes, enter quotes, and contact vendors for pricing.
• Determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations with partners/clients.
• Stay updated on products, trends, and market costs; follow up on quotes with vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain timely pricing data and resolve pricing issues.
• Review specifications and drawings to assess cost-effectiveness and prepare bids.
• Maintain bid calendar and update Salesforce; develop product and customer knowledge.
• Assist Project Managers with project execution per established methodology.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major accounts/customers.
