Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Estimator / Quotations Specialist to join our Washington team. This role involves developing quotations on Waterworks projects, ensuring outstanding customer service, and collaborating closely with vendors and branches.

The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in construction-related quotations, preferably with waterworks experience. Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction-related quotations or estimating experience required.
• Experience with waterworks products is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Gather required data for quote preparation and contact vendors for job quotes.
• Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts.
• Develop knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and customers.

Skills

Construction-related quotations or estimating experience

Experience with waterworks products

Strong proficiency with computer and software programs

Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to read blueprints and building plans

Tools

Planswift or similar estimating software
