Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a General Manager for a Canton, TX waterpark. This role leads all park operations, drives guest experience, and ensures safety and compliance with company standards.

You will oversee staffing, budgeting, and daily performance, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays during the operating season. The GM will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with leadership, monitor performance, and maintain facilities and safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Hospitality, Recreation Management, Operations, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of management experience in high-volume hospitality, amusement, recreation, entertainment, hotel, restaurant, or waterpark environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily waterpark operations including admissions, attractions, F&B, retail, guest services, parking, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure all departments are properly staffed and operating to company standards.
• Conduct daily park inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Monitor operations and make staffing or equipment decisions as needed.
• Manage park budget, labor, and operating expenses to meet goals.
• Maintain guest experience standards and respond to escalated issues.
