Job summary

Great Wolf is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead aquatic operations, supervise staff, and ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for guests at our waterpark. You will oversee programming, staffing levels, and policy implementation while maintaining safety standards and certifications.

The role requires strong leadership, training experience, and the ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff recruitment, hiring, training and scheduling.
• Conduct training and in-service sessions for Aquatics staff.
• Develop and monitor waterpark programming and schedules.
• Assign responsibilities and authority for department operations.
• Ensure lifeguard certifications are current for all guards.
• Direct implementation of department policies and procedures.
• Analyze utilization data and other inputs for planning.
• Participate in Manager-On-Duty program and duties.
• Plan realistic plans supporting organizational objectives.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests to resolve issues.
