Job summary

Smoky Mountain Resorts is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to lead daily waterpark operations, ensuring guest safety and exceptional service. You will train staff, enforce regulations, and coordinate with the Aquatics Manager to meet safety standards and business needs.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on hazard prevention, CPR/First Aid readiness, and effective communication across teams to deliver memorable guest experiences at our Smoky Mountain resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years supervising a minimum of 6 team members required.
• Aquatic/waterpark experience preferred.
• Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a diverse team and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Aquatics operations and team members (training, certification, coaching, safety).
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and care in pool areas and waterpark spaces.
• Enforce pool regulations and SMR policies; educate guests.
• Lead weekly safety drills and in-service trainings.
• Respond promptly to guest-related issues and emergencies; assist in rescues if needed.
• Coordinate with Aquatics Manager on projects, events, and staffing.
